CRW’s finished water distribution system delivers drinking water and fire flows throughout the City of Harrisburg and portions of Susquehanna Township and Penbrook. Much of the system is quite old (Civil War – 1950s) and though constructed of reliable materials (cast iron pipe), a good deal of the system has outlived its expected service life.
Replace a portion of the system on Elliot Street serving CRW’s Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility. This critical section of water main will be replaced beneath a railroad crossing to ensure reliable water service is provided for AWTF operations.
