The Rules and Regulations for the Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater System are adopted by Capital Region Water’s Board to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the facilities and infrastructure necessary to serve Ratepayers. Capital Region Water commits to review and amend these Rules and Regulations as necessary.
Capital Region Water’s Board preliminarily approved draft Wastewater and Stormwater Rules and Regulations for public review and comment November 21, 2019 through January 8, 2020. Comments were received in-person at public meetings, online, and via U.S. Mail. Public comments will be considered prior to final adoption.

The Collections Policy was adopted in order to provide Ratepayers with a written billing and collections policy and for Capital Region Water to subsequently implement uniform and consistent practices. Capital Region Water intends to ensure prompt and efficient collection of payment while reducing billing delinquencies. The Collections Policy is slated for full implementation by July 15, 2019. A billing timeline is provided below.
